Carlene Alexander, Global Diversity Officer, United Nations Federal Credit Union

Carlene Alexander is a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion professional based in the New York metro area. Currently, Ms. Alexander (Carlene) is the Global Diversity Officer at the United Nations Federal Credit Union. Prior to UNFCU, Ms. Alexander was employed in Human Resources with the Millennium Broadway Hotel, primarily responsible for recruitment, employee benefits and administrative support. Ms. Alexander (Carlene) has worked with the United Nations Federal Credit Union in a progression of roles supporting their Human Resources function. Currently Ms. Alexander (Carlene) oversees UNFCU’s Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Initiative. Ms. Alexander (Carlene) holds a Masters Degree in Human Resources and Labor Relations from Baruch College, City University of New York. She completed her undergraduate coursework, also at Baruch College, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) as well as HR/NY and holds a Diversity and Inclusion Professional Certificate from Cornell University.

Wayne is a Vice President at Amazon Web Services (AWS) where he leads businesses delivering cloud infrastructure services. In 2013, Wayne founded and continues to lead the AWS Boston regional development center.  Prior to his current position, Wayne held a variety of senior leadership roles in product development, product management, and business development spanning software defined storage, enterprise and midrange storage systems, network resource management, and multi-media and data networking. Wayne serves on the College of Computer and Information Science Dean’s Advisory Board at Northeastern University and the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, is a board member and executive advisor for Advancing Woman in Product (AWIP), and is an Executive in Residence at the University of Pennsylvania College of Engineering. Wayne received a B.Sc in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, an M.Sc in Computer Systems Engineering from Boston University, and has attended executive education programs at MIT and Babson College. Wayne holds over 40 patents in distributed and highly-available computer systems, digital video processing, and file systems.

Justin Pack, Principal ID&E Business Partner AWS

Justin has been with Amazon over 7 years, serving in many capacities – operations management, finance, and  most recently as a Principal ID&E business partner for AWS. In this capacity Justin supports almost 7,000 AWS builders in creating diverse and inclusive workspaces. 

Prior to this, Justin launched 26 fulfillment centers and coordinated hiring strategy and culture building for 67,000 employees across US and Canada as a senior launch manager. Justin has a finance degree from Baylor University and is extremely passionate about financial literacy which he teaches as a way to give back both inside and outside of the workplace. 


Outside of work, he enjoys participating in Spartan Races and Triathlons and competed in the Spartan World Championship in the desert of Abu Dhabi last year. Justin is an avid reader of personal and career development books and is passionate about helping those around him become better.

Kenneth is an Experienced Software Developer  with 5+ years of experience building medium and large-scale software  applications across mobile and web platforms. In 2019 he formed a group which he calls code2teach with the  objective of teaching them how to code well enough for them to teach  others. He is passionate about his Job and human development in general  which have made him stand out  in the African Tech space. He  co-organizes community events, contributes and speaks at  conferences/meetups, schools to promote education and self-improvement.  He is currently a member of the Amazon Web Services Community Builders,  where he contributes to the growth of AWS services.
